Drop, cover, and HOLD ON! We as a country practiced the great shake out! Just in case of a real disaster. In this picture we show you how to drop, cover, and hold on!
This earthquake reminds me about the 5.1 we had a couple of days ago I felt nervous and so scared because I didn't know if our house was gonna fall down

The 5.1 earthquake in la habra was very scary! I never had such a big earthquake! At San Francisco, we only had small earthquakes, and I barley feel them. It was very scary, because of the aftershocks. Oh my! I was scarred for life! Whenever someone would make a sound, I would say "EARTHQUAKE!!!!!" And I feel wierd feelings in my stomache.

The 5.1 earthquake was very scary it happened when I was playing online with my friends and all of a sudden it happened it is good to aftershocks though because when they happen more pressure is released and the more pressure realeased the less the earthquake will be stronger.

The Great California Shakeout taught me a lot to prepare myself for the 5.1 earthquake that happened on March 27, 2014. I was prepared because as soon as I felt the earth shake I said "Get under the table and grab a leg." At that moment I knew my family was depending
on me to tell them EVERYTHING I learn of in school about what to do when an earthquake happens, but I was proud of myself for following directions that I learned from my three BEAUTIFUL homeroom teachers who are: Mrs. Magdelano 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Gomez 4th
grade teacher, and Mrs. Quintanilla 5th grade teacher. Thanks for preparing me for a REAL earthquake.
